Did you know that Uniting Voices Chicago plays an important role in BCC’s history? In 2001, BCC's founder, Hubie Jones, experienced a breathtaking performance by the nationally renowned Uniting Voices Chicago (formerly Chicago Children’s Choir) and returned to Boston determined to replicate this innovative program, as there were no organizations in Boston that effectively combined a mission for artistic excellence with an agenda for social change.

Eat pizza and support Boston Children’s Chorus, Class of 2024! On Tuesday, April 30, we are hosting a fundraiser with American Flatbread Brighton (76 Guest Street, Brighton, MA 02135). From 4:00-10:00 pm, a percentage of every flatbread sold goes to BCC in honor of our graduating seniors - for both eat-in or takeout! The more people that come, the more pizzas sold. 20 years ago this weekend at Cambridge City Hall, Marcia Kadish and Tanya McCloskey became the first same-sex couple legally wed in the United States. The legalization of same-sex marriage was certainly a victory, and is just one step toward equality for basic human rights. In our season’s finale concert, witness these singers—coming together from across Greater Boston—as they demonstrate what true victory in love looks like for All of Us.
